Two people, including a child, were burnt to death in a house gas explosion in Gazipur. Later they were rescued to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The injured are - Home Caretaker Dulal Mia (45) and four year old child Usha Moni.
Gazipur Fire Service deputy director. Akhtaruzzaman said that accident took place at around 8pm on Friday at the rented house of Abdul Malek Mia of Kaligachhatala, the city corporation.
He also said that the safety tank, water tap or oven gas in the first and second floor toilets were in the closed room on the winter. After the fire started from electrical short circuits or any other source, there was a loud explosion. '
The two people were burnt at the time, he said.
