Rescue work of three launches drowned in Padma river at
Naria in Shariatpur has started for the second day. A body was recovered during this
period. The
body was recovered from Dulcharchar area around 9:30 am on Tuesday. Naria Police Station OC said.

He said, the Navy and the Fire Service started the rescue operation for the second day in the vessel. Two launches were found in this. OC said the locals informed the police about the body of a person named Sajal Talukdar (35), 8/9 kilometers away from the accident. Later, his body was recovered. Police officials said 14 names of missing passengers were found. They are Robin Sarder (20), Liton Sheikh (25), Manik Sardar (35), Bashir (29), Md.
